Traditional Karelian runolaulu song about bear hunting. In July 2010 I met the runolaulu-singer Jussi Huovinen (1924-2017) at his home in Hietajärvi, where Hanneriina Moisseinen introduced us. Several traditional songs were performed and shortly afterwards I started learning Karhunpyynnin lähtölaulu using Jussi´s recordings.
